6R5A Skype Full Session on 3/24 @6:30 pm

Plan:
a) Students can/should start week 11 homework and try to complete as much as possible.
b) 3/24 @6:30 pm – we’ll have a full-hour Skype session.
c) Week 12 packet will be emailed to parents on 3/24 after the Skype session.
d) If Skype sessions don’t work for your child, please send me an email after Skype session (by 10 pm on 3/24) to stop me from sending you future packets.

On 3/24, we will do the following …
a) talk about Box-and-Whisker (Example 1), Solving Ineq (p3. #48, #46, #56, #60)
b) talk about textbook – Trapezoids (p.79 #1(d)). Word Problem book – Percent (p.100 #8, #9)
c) answer questions

About the Skype call:
a) If you are late, you can still “Join Call”.
b) Once you are in, please turn off your camera and send a brief message with student’s name. Because the Skype name doesn’t match with student’s name, I can’t tell who is in.

a) talk about Unit Fractions, Whole (3/3, 7/7, etc), Mixed Numbers, Fraction Addition and Subtraction – basically, talk about page 1. So they can skip page 1 until after the Skype session.
b) talk about Word Problem book (p.59 #5) (p.61 #10) (p.138 #4) (p.140 #10)
c) answer questions
